We are pleased to announce our 2009 - 2010 Golf Education Program:

2010 Fairway Friends (Mentor/Mentee) Program - Have you been playing golf for awhile but just aren't sure what ready golf means, what to do when your ball goes outside the red or yellow stake, or when to pull the flagstick?  Or are you new to golf and have these questions?  This program will pair you up with a more experienced golfer to help you learn about etiquette, pace of play, and the basic rules of the game -- in a fun, supportive and noncompetitive environment.  Contact Judy Kotarak at judy@jkpromotionsinc.com or 989-820-6349 if you would like to be paired up.

Saturday, June 26th - Mentor-Mentee Golf Outing at Arrowhead Golf Club.  This will be a 9-hole scramble with 4-somes made up of experienced and new golfers.  We will play in the morning with an optional lunch to follow.  Everyone is welcome.  You do not have to be a mentor or mentee to sign up.

Breaking 100 Clinic Series:  Thank you Mike Dopslaff, Head Pro at Arrowhead Golf Course, for conducting the experienced golfer clinics.  Our members enjoyed the lessons and are looking forward to utilizing their improved skills.

Get Golf Ready:  Thank you to Jim Mapother, PGA Professional for conducting the Get Golf Ready beginner clinics.  They have helped a group of new golfers learn the basics of the game and get started on the road to enjoying golf for a life time.

Get Golf Fit: Our thanks to Kathy Hoeft, owner of The Health Club of Naples and Dr. Vivian Ebert, owner of Clinical Nutrition of Naples for their discussion of golf fitness and nutrition.  It was an informative and interesting evening.
